An Ode For Doctor Dan ET TAL

“Attention” I said to my teeth –Here’s the plan,

Today you are going to see doctor Dan.

Doctor Dan and his staff will then scrutinize you,

To be sure you are ready and willing to chew.

For eighty five years you have munched and you chewed.

Each time that I filled up my mouth with some food.

That has to continue –and surely it will,

Since the good doctor Dan and his staff has the skill.

To keep you all grinding, and chomping, and munching,

So I can enjoy every bite when I am lunching.

After cleaning and brushing, and all that they do,

My teeth will be happy –they’ll feel like they are new.

They will glisten and sparkle –and each tooth will know,

That when –to doctor Dan’s office they go.

They will get a great treatment –it certainly ranks,

As the best that they can get –and they will say “thanks”.

To the doctor and staff –for keeping them going,

And I’ll be content –just to see them all glowing.

When “all’s said and done” –and we head on our way

To doctor Dan and his staff –we will say “thanks for today”.
